Hey yeahs know tt its early in the morning and so
quite tired actually
but cant sleep
had a wonderful morning today
because its March 13 on the lunar calender, then got this "old sin men g" thing so must go pray for my Chor Ma and Chor Gong at the Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium place go tt time got bring tons of Joss Paper n stuff lah so go frm tampinese to mandai abt 50 mins or so? yeah nt to mention, i woke up at 4.30 a.m this morning than 5 a.m go fetch my "san gu po and er gu po" (third grand aunt and second grand aunt) yeah than reach Mandai there then there alot of ppl (b4 my granny told me its the Sin Meng thing, i thought to meself, Y got so many ppl die on this day???)
it was packed! no space to park
lol
and we had so many josspapers and so yeah and then must carry all down then go to the place and then pray and setup the table and put the food for Chor Ma and Chor Gong eat
they say to see if the ppl eat alr must throw 2 50cent coins or so the i dunno its heads or tails then dunno lah abt 10 mins ltr, they say Chor Ma and Chor Gong eat already yeah and then must take the big bags of joss paper and pray say to go Behind and collect your money and stuff E.G. Clothes, Shoes, Goldbars and the Big yellow bag filled with money and the hell notes and the joss papers
usually they say that Chor Ma and Chor Gong eat slowly but they know today is the sin Meng thing so they eat faster then can let ppl take the parking spot. ( My Chor Ma and Chor Gong so Considerate)
so we went behind to the place where they have the pits to burn all the "Dead Ppl Stuff"
yeah sarted of with pouring the Hand Folded Joss paper then the Big Yellow Bags
then SET IT ALIGHT!!! YEAH BABY!
then the fire so big that it kept me awake !! lets sing the campfire song -.-!
alfter that we put in the hell notes
followed by Chor Gong and Ma's clothes, shoes and stuff -.-
then we stay there pray 4 awhile and then i found 1 more pack of hell notes than i SERIOUSLY dunno if its ours then i ask me granny and then she sae is then ask me to point out the area where i found it then she confirm is ours then we open it and then burn it -.- yeah the fire was big
then we left the area and went to the tampinese Round Market and had our breakfast (i didnt eat)
then come back to me granny house which i am in right now -.-
yeah and so know u know what to do during the Sin Meng time/festival
this is oni old one dunno which other sunday is the "New" one yeah and bye bye i go eat me breakfast!
